The Dezimra Institute is proud to offer as an educational refresher The Nigguneem (Melodies) of Rosh Hashanah, a compilation of some of the magnificent and inspirational Nigguneem of the holy Rosh Hashanah prayers that have been sung in unison by billions of Jews throughout millennia, led by world–renowned Cantor Benny Amar. The Dezimra Institute is providing this platform to elevate each individual’s personal level of spirituality, kavanah, emunah and yeerah in preparation for the holy days of Rosh Hashanah.

The Nigguneem (Melodies) of Rosh Hashanah is a compilation of some of the magnificent and inspirational Nigguneem of the holy Rosh Hashanah prayers that have been sung in unison by billions of Jews throughout millennia. This year, due to the pandemic of COVID-19, millions of faithful Jews find themselves in the position where they cannot attend services with their congregational family, and feel isolated at home without the enormous benefit of spiritual singing.

These recordings are not meant to be a substitute for individual prayer or congregational worship. The Nigguneem (Melodies) of Rosh Hashanah are meant to be reviewed in the days preceding Rosh Hashanah, as an educational and spiritual supplemental tool to help prepare individuals to reach a higher level of spirituality, prior to the actual holy days of Rosh Hashanah. It may be helpful for individuals to follow the words of the songs in their own Machzor.

You can navigate directly to each prayer section using the bar at the top of the page. In addition, we have provided an index list with direct links to each individual recording for the specific tefillot. Click here for the index list

The Nigguneem (Melodies) of Rosh Hashanah presented by the Dezimra Institute is not meant to be used or viewed on Shabbat or the actual holy days of Rosh Hashanah.
